Physical, financial and emotional abuse are anchors that keep a woman drowning in a torrent of domestic violence. This film looks at one woman's struggle to stay afloat, and ultimately break free.

When the world turns upside down we have a choice to firmly hang on to old ideas in fear or embrace the new view. Chasing Birds is a symbolic story about a little girl who playfully chases a bird throughout a chaotic and transformational period.

Touch: from the tactile sensation at the origin of human consciousness to “twist, press and click”. Piles of images generate and decay into the soil. They are the real flesh, the intangible memory.

Mr. Ham decides to heal a broken heart by having it removed, as this is the socially acceptable treatment of pain. Holding onto the organ after the surgery, maybe he can begin to understand it better. The film takes its name from a medical condition known as “broken heart syndrome”.

What do we burn when our world is already on fire? A woman in a violent relationship encounters a chicken. They share a moment, a cigarette and a desire to set this world ablaze to reflect their wounds. A painted flight of fancy about the elation that comes with breaking out of a cycle of pain.
