Cinema meets crafts(wo)manship. Tactile and textured, film practice breathes life into images through engraving, ink on glass, puppets, stitching, sketching, stop motion and celluloid experiments. Anchored in space and place, the films explore family ties where roots run deep. What emerges is a dialectic between independence and interdependence, agency and legacy. The dissolution and reconstitution of the family unit pulsates through memory and materiality.
